@unknownuser said: If the facteur already made it onto MSN, I apologize. It did. Apology accepted. I don't think this made it onto the list, [image: 418390138_44a8584c3a.jpg] but it obviously should have. I think there is "good crazy" with the Walt Disney Convert Hall and the Guggenheim, but the binoculars and handbasket are "bad crazy" to me. I suppose the handbasket is a lot better than just having a bog-standard warehouse building with offices inside though.

Just out of curiosity, I created 3 sites - now it won't let me create the site I really wanted! It says you can't create any sites at this time, try again later. It's been a full day, so maybe I need to wait longer.

Well I think it would be quite easy to do a 2d cad / technical drawing program, as most phones have cursors which could be used to navigate an xy plane. Teavuihuang's app works shows the potential for this. Incidentally I have a sony ericson, not a nokia that the app was designed for but it runs fine. I think a more robust app like this could be extremely useful for drawing on-site surveys accurately rather than fumbling around with a paper pad.

Thanks guys. I've kind of been to busy to notice it, to be honest. But we did "celebrate" last night by going to see the new Indiana Jones movie. [image: TD8L_indy.png]

Hi Scott, Thanks for chiming in! I think even even when "collections" were implemente, it helped a lot because people started to pick quality models and brosing the collections already gives way better and faster results!

I was quite tame compared to you lot but some stuff that comes to mind; Age 8, scout camp: We had a butane stove that wouldn't light so we figured the gas cylinder might be empty. I tested it by holding a lit match to the cylinder tap and turned it expecting the flame to get a bit bigger if there was any gas left. Impressively the whole gas cylinder caught alight and started rolling around. It came to rest at the side of our tent which caught alight too. Teenage highlights; Regularly used to climb a tree in order to jump over a large barbed wire fence that seperated us from the posh girls school. We did climbing and abseiling at school which was foolish on the schools part as my friends and I used to do "homework". Freestyle quarry climbing was always quite popular. Various painful bicycle accidents, often as a result of drinking beer and then holding onto a motorbike to pick up speed... Starting fires. Small rural bonfires that used to suddenly set fire to everything around them. We were experts at beating out fires with blankets.

Oh yeah, that one's pure gold too. And this was Greece's entry in 2002: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=GWDU9ZWMoEw I remember seeing it on tv and having the distinct feeling I had suddenly been catapulted into a parallel dimension.

Same here. Great Convention, made more so by the city and all there is to see. I had a great time touring Kahn Buildings at Yale, the Gerhy fiasco at MIT, some Harvard Museums and historic Boston. I also had a non-architectural tour of the ICA Building. I am still not sure what to think of it, great exterior public places and magnificent views from inside (specially the media room) but the galleries were so small and bland?. A personal highlight was visiting the JFK Library and archives, more for the history than the building, athough I liked the Atrium space a lot. And of course, meeting Craig D., Lewis and Susan. Now back to work... Alfredo

Aangenaam, ik heb me net aangemeld.

Ok, it is the Haworth Zody chair we have. We have some with the fabric cushion seat and some with the mesh seat. Virtually everything, even your attitude is adjustable with this chair. [image: 1_97854%20B-Main.jpg]
