    • RE: [Plugin] Compo Spray 1.4.2 Updated

      Hi Didier,

I'm getting this error when trying to add CompoSpray to my plugins library that's hosted on my company's network drives (utilizing Fredo6's 000_Additional_Folders script). Any suggestions on how I can fix it so I can avoid the error, and still deploy the plugin network wide?

I'm trying to learn Ruby for SketchUp, so let me know if my assumption is correct. The error is resulting from CompoSpray being directed to look at C:...Plugins for the language file instead of the location that Additional Folders is redirecting it to, correct?

      Thanks!

Same error here on Mac... Only in the new version.

    • RE: Maxwell for Sketchup - architectural work

One tricky part in rendering with Maxwell inside Sketchup is the mapping when using MXM materials. How do you deal with that? Or you are using the plugin's basic materials with texture?

      Stunning work AGAIN mate!

Just wondering though why you don't add the dirt as a layer to the materials prior to rendering? I pretty much add a dirt layer to every material.

Also not so sure about the car in this one, they seem out of place in a ruins shot!

Do you have any tutorials or reference to add dirt to the maxwell material? Cause I am trying to achieve a nice and realistic look with materials layer layers but I can't..

Nice and moody, I like that πŸ‘

      A couple observations -
Seems like the sidewalk should look wetter, more reflections.
And shouldn't the water be pouring off that awning?

The rain was in post and it was my first attempt..I tried to do it with photoshop brushes but it didn't go well..

Hello xaideoe, great effect and colours. If you darkened the windows a little and dropped the vibrance, add some car/shop/street light reflections it would really pop.

      I will try that John,thanks!
