Wow, quite an explanation TIG, thank you.
I would find this operation most useful to texture or reverse faces inside a group/component.
I often get CAD files that have tons of nested groups and I need to texture them or reverse their faces. I thought this kind of tool would speed up the process.
      BTW, what is a "pick_helper"?

    • Plugin Idea

      Hello Plugin Gurus,

I was wonderng if this exists or would be a good idea for a new plugin:

The ability to hover over a group, hold a short cut key and be able to select a face or edge inside a nested group.

This would save TONS of time clicking in and out of nested groups/components.

      Any takers?

P.S. Thanks to all the scripters for your gracious plugins!!! They are much appreciated.

Thanks Tig! Will come in usefull when rendering with Vray since getting rid of any component instances should make render times quicker (after a file copy of course).

    • RE: Soft modeling (organic)

Solo, I highly enjoyed your plant collection and admire these soft models you are developing, but I look forward even more to your tutorials so I can model my own custom designs. Having that ability would be more valuable to me than purchasing a package of someone else's designs. Plants and trees, on the other hand, are a must!
Thanks again for all your great work ☀

This is a yoga studio for a spa I'm designing in school. It's an on going project but I though I'd post this for some C&C. Thanks to Solo for the great plant collection!

    • RE: Modern waiting room

Your plant choice looks good, it just needs to be scaled down a bit.

As for the exterior, it looks over exposed so maybe turn down the environmental light or multiplier.
If the interior becomes a little darker, a small light behind the camera always helps.

Now say hello to some freshly brewed Heinecken for me!

    • RE: Modern waiting room

Pugz, I think your floor, walls and tryptich look very nice. The vase and plant are overwhelming the space a bit and your exterior needs a much more realistic look. 10 hours is a long time, but keep up the good work.
