      Hi,

I have been using this plugin and I am very happy with it. But lately I am having problems with some, not all, images, that when processed appear like that. Just very few pixels are included in the component made by the plugin. What could be the reason?

I guess this is a hijack but I wonder why people want seamless wood grain materials. Wood isn't a seamless material in nature and it seems that most folks are trying to get as much realism in their renders as possible.

      Dave,

I have received the textures from the Egger office here, the links are provided by them too in a local forum.

The textures you can download are A3 scans, I also have 2700x1200mm scans with resolution of 3927x1745px that I can send if needed.

815, 1615, 1665, 1696, 1698, 1699, 1704, 1706 are all cherry textures - choose the one you like, you can adjust the right color in Photoshop or Gimp, btw Gimp's make seamless filter works great with woodgrain.

      hello,

I am a woodworkertoo, and I use cutlist
I had great talks with Steve about it and what I'd like to do...

one of the main things is we have sheets around here that don't match US or NZ ones...

I'd like to be able to create a list of standard boards and sheets for us...

that would be great to start

and of course I talk metrics...

      MERCI !

👍 That is what would matter most for us here in Europe I think. Thank you ishboo for your contribution with this plugin!

      TIG

Forgive me but i am no expert in these matters.
I have checked and got the latest java and it is enabled so far as I can see.
As far as permissions are concerned, I have little experience in setting specific tags for particular apps but as i mentioned before, the other installed plugin in winxp worked straight out the 'box' and required no additional changes so i'm not sure where to even start switching things in the new windows 7 OS....

Is there anyone out there who has got this working on win7 pro 64bit and skp 8? Did you have to do anything fancy to get it to work?
Maybe they can help point me in the right direction.

Java is currently installed in the x86 directory so as far as i know this is the 32bit version... might it help to get the 64bit version?

      Dave

I had problems running the plugin in Windows 7 and SU 8 Pro, although all permissions were set right for my user account and Java was updated. I solved the problem running SU from the master administrator account and I still switch user accounts in order to use the plugin. Probably that is not the best thing to do but it works.

Thank you all, I have managed to get both Artisan and Tgi3D working without graying out context menu items, I have installed the Alex M script that TIG pointed to and deleted two dozens of files from the Plugins folder. So there is no problem with Artisan or Tgi3D.

Thank you thomthom and TIG, I have Fredo's plugins and all my plugins are updated. I have indeed too much of them loaded so I shall try to resolve that. I also have some component related items graying out like Explode, which happens with Tgi3D loaded. I have to cleanup the pligins obviously.
