Seamless textures of various timber cladding
-
I need some seamless textures of various timber cladding ( painted, or naturally stained ) I am working on a historic model which consist of many typical old Norwegian farmhouses. If you have some reference and tips in how to make seamless textures, that would be great. I have tried this some years back for bricks, but with mixed success. Also I need textures for rooftiles. Hello and welcome!
There are some really great sources of various textures here: http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=486
Hope you´ll find something that suits your needs. As for those bricks, you might find this interesting: http://www.bricksntiles.com/. I think you can even make seamless wooden boards textures with it.
Cheers!

You can also try WoodWorkshop to generate a bunch of different wood planks (or any patterns as a matter of fact). They are not super-realistic but with a bit of touch in PP, you can make them better.

cgtextures.com has a lot of these
