RE: Which Shoe Bench do you like?
Sorry to hear that.

that's looks splendid...however...
The lady that this was to be given to as a present passed away two days ago, unexpectedly. She had a rupture in the aorta and a stroke. Her memorial is tomorrow.
Visit your friends today....there are no tomorrows.
I'm sorry to hear that.

EuripidesKeep the bench in your library, someone, someday may love that in their entryway.

RE: Which Shoe Bench do you like?
I like Dave's idea of the applied rail on the arm rests,
I tried adding one to the back, but just didn't look right to me.

I kind of expected at least a patronizing comment from DaveR
I guess the topic question caused his silence!
Dave, "None of them" is an acceptable comment.
LOL
I am partial to #6, but I might try the side/arm of #1 on #6

RE: [Plugin] Face2Frame - Updated 27-Mar-2014
Thanks for all the replies !!
I uninstalled the plugin, and then reinstalled, by saving to my desktop and then dropping in to my plugins folder. I am still getting the same results.
I am running Windows 7 / SU 8
I haven't tried removing all my other plugins, and restarting SU yet.
I am hoping that the ruby console will shed some light on my problem, before I go through removing all the plugins. Thanks,
Wayne

I get the same results, if I select an option, and then hit enter, or not make any selections at all.

RE: [Plugin] Face2Frame - Updated 27-Mar-2014
Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong.
I create a face, but when I select "Frame It" all I get are 2D lines on my face.I have attached a screenshot of what I am talking about.
Thank You for this great plugin, I'm sure it will be very useful to me, once I figure it out.
Thanks,

RE: Having trouble downloading DC Cabinets from 3D WH

importing them worked like a charm -
Having trouble downloading DC Cabinets from 3D WH
I'm hoping someone here has some suggestions/solutions to my problem.
I am trying to build a library of Dynamic kitchen cabinets, that i can modify width, height, depth.
I have downloaded several models which are supposed to be DC's, but when I open them there is no options for DC, I just get a box stating "There are no matching options to choose across this selection".
These cabinets Kraftmaid from Lowes.I have searched and have not found a good source of wall, base and tall face frame style cabinets.
I'm wondering if my method of downloading has anything to do with it, I download, and from download window I drag file in to appropriate folder that I created on my desktop.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Wayne

RE: SU Warehouse has some shortcomings.
The problem with the component browser, is that it doesn't give you the option to search collections.
I agree with the OP that it is anoying that the warehouse closes after each download.
I usually have the warehouse open in another window with Firefox, I then download items and save them in to a folder, and then import them into my model. I do this if I know I am going to need multiple items, such as kitchen cabinets. I then store my Sketchup model and downloaded components folder in another folder with job name on it.Maybe an option to keep the warehouse open after download within SU ? Is there a plugin to do this?

RE: Housebuilder question
Open the Layers window and click on the box labeled skin, this will add a covering to your walls, which would replicate a drywall covering.'
Hope this helps -

Looking for good Knotty Pine texture
Just as the title says, I am in need of a quality Vertical Knotty Pine texture to use on some T&G boards that measure 8"x4'
My hope is that I can find a texture where tiling won't be much of a issue, due to the small face size of the boards.
I have done a bit of searching on this site and a few of the texture sources listed here, but with no real success.
I posted this in the woodworking forum hoping that one of you guys had a texture that may work.
Thanks in advance.
