    • RE: V-Ray or Maxwell?

Fast turn around isnt too important, a lot of my designing is done with a pencil. Its the end product which I want to look as 'photoreal' as possible which is important to me. So I guess with that in mind you would suggest Maxwell...

    • V-Ray or Maxwell?

Ive been using V-Ray for a couple of months now and found it to be quite good, but there is a small part of me that keeps thinking maybe Maxwell is better, before I get into the routine of using V-Ray all the time I want your advice on which you think is best suited to an interior designer? I only ask as some of the renders Ive seen on the net done on maxwell look amazing!

      Thanks in advance all!

Ok I took your advice and this is the result...

I used the Architectural glass as you suggested.

Why does the shower area look so pixelated? or 'noisey' ?

    • RE: My 1st Vray Render

1st of all thanks for your quick response, I appreciate it.
Ive made the lights in the shower brighter,
Ive made the toilet have more shine.
The rectangle on the front of the shower which you thought was a window is a VRay rectangular light. As this is a en suite bathroom which has no windows I thought the only way I could get light into the image was to delete a wall and shine a light into the space... Is there an easier way to light interiors up with no natural light source?

Ive tried downloading the 'architectural glass' from the vray site but the link must be broke as it wont download.
The material editor is a great tool Im building a libary of materials as we speak.

Ill play around with my image and post the results when Ive achieved something.
      Thanks again.
