I use both Mac and PC. I can install plugins on the PC no problem, but when I install on to the Mac the plugins don't seem to work. They were fine in Sketchup 6. Anyone else having the same problems? For example Housebuilder won't install or show up in the tools menu.

I am trying to put together a tutorial using scenes. The problem is when adding to a later scene the drawing appears in earlier scenes. I have named scenes and layers in unison. I have loaded every scene to bring up the relevant layer and switch of the previous layer. This problem of the new drawings appearing on all layers still persists. Any advice on dealing with this would be good

Yeah I've tried that as well and it pulls up a lot side geometry. I think I've cracked it now with pulling the outline through the contoured surface and intersecting. Thanks

Is there a way of cutting into a contoured surface and then push/pulling. This is to represent an excavation cut for a building outline. I have tried the drape tool without success. Any ideas? - Thatcher
