Thank you all for your comments.
Pete, that means a great deal coming from you.
Rich, the textures are all standard, not sure how most people work but I sort my textures into a file first, then take them through PS. The brick above was Yellow! and it saves so much time in PP.
Adam, You've got me blushing!

RE: Beyond the gates...
Lee, Thank you. This one is just made up, I wasn't sure if it should be derelict/run down so I settled half way. For the render I used V-Ray.
Kristoff, time is one thing in ample supply!

RE: The Waiting Room...
TIG I remember the late father in laws words.. "John marry her, I'll give you a thousand pounds and a cow" 20yrs and I'm still waiting for the money.
Dale, we all need a donkey!
Kristoff, you'll have me blushing again, the beauty of Sketchup is anyone can learn it. 2yrs ago I was push-pulling boxes.

The Waiting Room...
A small railway station waiting room, a lot of work must have gone into building this one. Anyway the wife said I'm not paying enough atention to the family.... so I placed the Mother in Law in the second image.

RE: The Little House......
Kristoff, Thank you as always.
Pyroluna, Thank you for your comments also. Small windows are not a problem here, we have Electricity, flick a switch and the lights come on! its bloody brilliant stuff, we even have Gas if it gets cold. The reason for the tiling to the grass was a problem with Moles, anyway one dismissed that gardener after that little fiasco

Marius, there's only one word to describe your work...class. The texturing on those last pics are superb!

RE: The Lodge House
Kristoff, thank you, It's the small details that count but it's hard to know what not to draw or what won't be seen.

RE: The Lodge House
James, thank you. Your comments are always welcome.
TIG, thank you also. These are all modelled "by eye" from pictures I find on the web, the hardest part is finding something to draw. I’ve made a Tutorial that’s on James site but I’m not sure if I’m allowed to link it here. The old buildings have character and I love craftsmanship that went into constructing them, unlike the modern boxesof today; today’s tradesmen (I use the word lightly) couldn’t hold a candle to the old boys! It seems there all chasing the money now and no longer have any pride in their work.

RE: Orientation of textures/materials
Click on the material in your model, right click choose texture, position, right click and rotate 90. Hope this helps.

RE: The Little House......
Bob, Thank you. The flat idea sounds great with no link to the main house!. I think the garage doors makes it look American, they have better doors than us. I drew this because I'm completely out of ideas, it's a week looking for ideas and a day drawing at the moment.
James , Thank you. The first two images are Photosketcher, it's a great piece of software if done lightly IMO.
