ok i make a line straight up. select it so its blue then copy it. up until today when i hit past to place a copy of it it would always let me place it from the bottom of the line. for some reason it is make me place it from the top wich does nothing for me because im working off the floor. how do i change this so it works from the bottom?

I saw on a video on you tube a guy made a shape then pulled it along a line that curved like a horse shoe shape. I know how to pull but how did he pull it around a curve? Any one know
