At our school we ran a maths unit on making 'nets' for chocolate boxes which the kids made in SU and then folded up the nets, glued them up, filled them up with chocolate, sold them and all the profits went to a charity. I recorded an SU tutorial on how to fold up the nets on screen using a programme called Camtasia which records your voice and the screen. So they could see whether or not their nets were going to work before they printed them out on card.
It was good fun and the kids loved it!!

I run Leopard on a MacBook and whenever I tried to use the middle mouse button it activated 'Spaces'. To resolve this I selected Spaces and held down the mouse button to select Spaces preferences where you will find two option boxes to activate 'Spaces' i.e. 'F8' and, over to the right, Secondary Mouse Button, Middle Mouse Button or, '-'. By selecting '-' it freed-up the Middle Mouse Button for use in SU

My name is Stuart and I just joined today. Main reason is I just loaded Google SUv6 onto a MacBook running on Leopard and I've never seen so many spinning discs in my life! Is there a reason for this? and is there a fix?
