advies in goed nederlands: "keep it simple" van die seedieje weet ik ook niet - mijn frans is belabberd

Aangenaam, ik heb me net aangemeld. Ik ben Maarten, 22 en kom uit kerkrade. Doe af en toe wat sketchupwerk voor particulieren of bedrijven, en ga in de zomervakantie tijdelijk werken bij een bedrijf in de sector. Renderen doe ik vooralsnog met vray, maar ben nu uit aan het kijken naar onder andere cinema. Een sketchupbasement lijkt me zeker de moeite waard, afhankelijk van de plek en de opzet. Lijkt me mooi als er lezingen etc zijn van sketchupspecialisten en rendermogelijkheden. Ik ga eens verder rondkijken hier, groet, Maarten

Solo, the file size is 74,7 MB. Render time for this one: 15 hrs and change. Modelhead, those floor hangers are merely there because I thought: hmm, I need something more. This model still needs quite some tweaking. I really should plan ahead more, instead of just jumping in.

Thanks, Mateo. Luckily, I have all the time in the world to use it. I'm not a professional, so I can afford the render times. SU + MoI + Podium + Indigo + Maxwell. I'm beginning to have really nice toolbox.

If it weren't for Podium and (Sk)Indigo, well, I probably would be rendering a lot less.

Why can't a slick organisation line Luxology get this right? And Martin is looking into adding native .skp support for Cheetah, now that the SDK is freely available. An .skp in a Smart Folder...how cool would that be?

Thanks, and no, my bathroom isn't smelly. Most of the time. Thanks for the tip, but I think I'll stick to using Podium and Indigo, as I'm fairly comfortable with those apps. I respect Kerky and the work that's being put into it, but I find it's GUI a tad too complicated. For me, anyway. I admit, however, there's some mighty fine renders in the Kerky gallery.
