Its just the lines (so a curve) that you have previous drawn under the steps!
(as shown on my images)
Copy move it in Z!
but since i unnecessarily made my circle of 500! segments, that line you talking about is a buncha segments, is there a way to make it one nice smooth curve?

some other guy has commented on the video asking how the sides were made, a year ago!
i was too impatient for y'all to reply... found my own redneckish way to do it...
~i made the usual spiral stair boxes and put them in their places,
~just like the youtube video, i made the lower face using curviloft
~exploded the lower face
~now curvilofted' the sides for every single step.. and finally
~a bunch of smoothin
next time i will do it the easy way 
however I have question, how did they make the sides? If you watch the video,it shows three stages to make the stair and I am stuck with the first one.. Plz help.

i did that for the SketchUp 2013 plugins folder but not the individual extension folders and files inside it..

so u have to go n give permission to every file? I thought giving permission to the main plugin folder solved it all.. any way, now back to installing vray 1.6. hope it works.. if not i have to disable it in the extensions menu every time I model, right?

well you suggested to disable vray and i accidentally uninstalled it.... however even that didnt work...

i had RC working on su7+vray 1.6beta.... ill give your suggestion a shot
I just installed RC from SUcation plugin store.. installed the latest libfredo 49 too.
Gave the plugin folder full access.
Installed curvilof also.
Now, RC buttons are showing up but nothing happens when I click on them.. that 'simply,sampling etc' tool bar doesn't show up.The green, red and yellow lines on the edge selected aint coming. Nothing happens when I press tab either..
Curviloft is working fine...
What am I doing wrong here folks?

Derrick has a nice story behind him and all but his materials load into vray even if I have deleted him and saved that as a default template. I have to remove every single of his materials from vray material editor every time I start a new skp file.
This has probably been answered.. I looked for the solution but could not find it..
