    • RE: Texture mapping the face of curved sliced through cylinder

Thanks Tig. It took a little messing about to make this work. I was able to align a new plumb cut face in front of the curved face and project directly onto the curved end. Works perfectly one time.

Am I missing a step that will allow me to project this onto each face or do I need to make 10 new faces and project each one individually?

    • Texture mapping the face of curved sliced through cylinder

I'm having a heck of a time trying to fix this issue and could use some pro tips.

I've sliced a curve through a cylinder (Subtracted shape from) and have tried to map a texture onto the ends. It's registered as a single surface and color maps just fine. I have right-clicked and tried to position the texture but there is no solution and it appears to be many faces.

How can I make this map to the entire face like shown on the top two logs?
