Rust color
Hello guys & ladies,
I like what you've done w/ the place!
I hope to keep signed in continuously,
Where can I get a copper colored transparency (material).
The FB page is pretty cool too. Do you sell help wanted ads on FB? -
RE: Out of square model
You guys have some great ideas. There is a wing of this house that is the culprit. I am paying attention to the instructions above and reset axis. There are so many surfaces that don't make and have to stitch them together. Just the masonry buttresses are signal enough to be wary. I am putting it together for dwg and finish in cad. If I can isolate a piece I'll post it. Thanks everyone!

Out of axis
this is not necessarily a bug. I have a house model that is a composition of at least 3 fully developed models. I duplicated the floor plane at distance on vertical axis above and if I draw a line from corner to corner on blue axis it misses the duplicate plane's corner.
Either I had a small rotation on a component that I built off that became a major piece. Anyone had one go corkscrew?
Nice job on the forum guys. Can't wait to check it out.

Out of square model
Has anyone had a complicated model get out of axis?
working on a building. IF I make a outline of the floor plan and raise it above the plan, then try to blue axis to the corners, I get things like 2 inches away, or right angles that protractor to 90.4 degrees. spent 2 days trying to troubleshoot. back is against the wall: it's a complicated model.
Any suggestions about how to straighten it out? -
RE: Construction & Working Drawings - Discussion
Hello SU Pros! I'm all new here and stuff!!
I have found so much great info on this forum. After reviewing this thread there seems to have been a dry-spell where everybody all but gave up on the LO idea. I attempted to build construction docs in LO back with version 6 and found the wall at some point on every project. I have seen the work displayed lately and am feeling enthusiastic that SU may have overcome the barriers that broke the process for me.
I think one of the biggest issues was pixelated lines when printing. This seems to be fixed with rendering the layer before taking to print. Has anyone else had success CD'ing homes to working drawings using only SU & LO? I am using the PRO Trial to see if I can upgrade.
