Actually no, i used to make my cars low poly and all and then subdivide but now all i really use is the line tool. it gives much better results

really good the people look a little flat though

does anyone know a way to take let say a sphere and make a jpg out of the geometry like the unfold tool so you can edit it in photoshop and then put it back on the model with texture wrapped around it? hopefully you know what i mean

i know this is kinda off topic and all but i use kerkythea and i would like to know if ther is a way to get the shadow effect on the ground. im using that same parking lot image

IKE REPORT Day 3: I had to get up today and help ma dad wit this lady whos tree fell on the neighbors truck. Everything ended for the best with the truck without a scratch but a bent antenna. we chopped the tree up pretty good and i got paid pretty good. I think todd hasn't answered yet becuz of the power shortage all we cAN do is wait to see what happened to him and his home.

Lights out, flooded cars, and i heard downtown is a total mess. I think its about more than 4 feet of water. I went to pasadena and on my way there i saw this big giant hole on this big building. it really hit us hard and thats not even the whole thing. I saw the news that its going up north. Im writing this from a laptop conected to this generator my dad got for about 6 of our apartments. i hope todd had as much luck as i did.

im using the same technique as you right now and im pretty happy with the results i get. and about unproportional blueprints its all the matter of the scale tool.

ill try that too thx. it would be really nice if there was a way to make an application that could do all this with one click directly into sketchup

if a line has too many segments i can fix that. But it would be awsome if i could put the number of lines in the little white box in the corner

If your familiar with photoshop you would know what im talking about. a tool like the magic wand or quick selection is what i mean. It would make it so much easier when tracing blueprints
