      Hi guys,
I think that you may be looking for something I found here
      http://sdmitch.blogspot.it/

The plugin is named Tile&Brick+Wood (the third one from the bottom), I find it to be quite useful!

We just released a new version of FluidImporter 2 that solves a lot of compatibility issues with SketchUp 2013/2014. You can download it here:

Thanks a lot fluid! Your plugin is wonderful!

EDIT: I'm seriously intentioned to buy your plugin. What would be the price in euros (I'm italian)? Thank you

    • RE: [Plugin] Layers Panel 1.2.1

      Hello Jiminy!
I had some time to test this baby and I cannot get it to work.

I use Indigo Renderer (SkIndigo exporter 3.6.25.5 version), and:

      1. none of the peculiar and extra-useful tools of your plugin work (neither the "hide but render" or the "show but not render")
      2. when clicking on the Indigo Logo on the upper right corner of the plugin, a message is displayed saying that Indigo Is no tinstalled on the pc, whether it is instead, and it works like a charm if I use the SkIndigo export bar...

The plugin seems wonderful, really! Only, at the moment Indigo support is a little bit unconvincing πŸ˜†

The clients seemed no to care too much about the fact that I'n not as good as Davidh πŸ˜„
But they wanted a good image, so I had to do a little improvisation (I'm no EXPERT about photoshop), which turned out to be gooed enough for them.

      ..amazing....
I am shocked about the 2 days work.. I mean, the lighting is not PERFECT, but quite it is! Very communicative images! Wonderful work!
The carpet in marvelous designer..did you import it into sketchup? really? how was the polycount?

This for me is a chance to challenge myself in improving my modeling and rendering skills by sharing some of my works (all done using Sketchy and Indigo Renderer) here in the forums. Many of the images that will follow are actually a "closed topic", and I strongly doubt I'd have guts enough to revisit them following your smart tips to correct the many errors you'll spot.. For sure I think I will learn for the next occasions! So I thank you all for your patience and time in advance and I really really hope you enjoy the renders. I owe so much to this forums...

..sad story for this one: a kitchen renovation for a couple of friends just married. The project was done, but the plasterboard worker (don't know how he is called out of Italy) got everything wrong. The two friends, once saw the result, asked to remove all and to leave the kitchen like it is: plain square white box......... Plasterboard worker fired, end of the story.

This is a visualization for a worksite public notice they're currently realizing (project not mine). The model is very very detailed and the rendering times were HUUUUGE due to render size (more than 10.000 pixels wide) and complexity (indoor and outdoor lighting and glasses).

![..another "artistic" shot of the same model. This one wasn't committed by the client. Changed the mood using a different EXR map.](/uploads/imported_attachments/mX3K_im1363101698_small.jpg "..another "artistic" shot of the same model. This one wasn't committed by the client. Changed the mood using a different EXR map.")

VERY VERY poor base model, tight deadlines and loads of photoshop for this idraulic work here in Italy. I'm not good as Davidh, but the clients seemed not to care too much :)

This image is about a library extension. Darn long work on the books my friends..

Don't let an architect see your home Oxer πŸ˜† πŸ˜† πŸ˜†
BUT very very high quality renders indeed, I especially like the bathroom one: the lighting is very neat and really calls out the materials' nature.

I have no time to recall the ruby console window, since the crash happens just as I click on the action I want to do. No warnings, no error windows.. Is there a way to read sort of a ruby console log of past events?

NICE! Great work frv! I especially like the third one, very natural! And very clever trick to avoid the huge reflection area with the tree πŸ˜‰

I'm considering to test some other render engines integrated with Sketchy, other than Indigo Renderer which is my favourite for now: have you guys something to comment about MR (which I formerly used in the past years, btw)?

Nothing to do: same result if I push the rectagle up, make it a box and select the top face.. 😳

      I know you're not a mage TIG πŸ˜†
My question was about some kind of plugin conflicts you may know to be still lurking..
The splat is easy to describe: empty scene, simple rectangle, selected, activate plugin, test with default values, OK and...splat!

I haven't many plugins installed (I like to keep my SketchUp light πŸ˜‰ 😞 I have roundcorners, indigo renderer, furmaker, Fredoscale, Tools on surface and edge2 tools.

Shall I try the plugin with sketchup8 free?

    • [request] Hiding unused scenes

I have searched the forums but it seems I cannot find any plugin wich allows to hide some scene tabs.. It could be useful when, as it's happening to me now, one sets dozens of povs in a model, but then wants to choose some of them without deleting the others..

Is there a way to do so?

      Thanks a lot!

Thank you TIG for pointing me to the latest version: I totally missed that......sorry!
..now, I have some experience using and working with sketchup, so the plugin not showing up at all was a little dazzling for me πŸ˜† Thanks a lot for your help by the way!
The "roof.." entry now appears but anything I try to do, even with a simple rectangle selected, triggers a bugsplat.. Can you help me further?

Sorry TIG if I bother you: I just tried installing the plugin but it seems not to load correctly. It simply doesn't show up in the plugins menu. I double checked the correct position of the rb file. ..Maybe a plugin conflict?

Hey Solo! Got the chance to read the catchup article only a couple minutes ago, and the hardware configuration sounds excellent. Is the deal still ongoing? Can the product be shipped to Europe? What would be the final price? Thanks a lot!
