it does funny things with the worm gear too at a ratio of ten, is this a bug or isn't it. when you click on the wheel everything just disappears

the gear gear ratio doesn't work quite right. I put the ratio to 10 and the wheels just spin (see example) after you touch them.

do you know what controller scripts are used to make a keyboard key do an action
(like the spacebar, or letters other than WAS and D),
or for a slider to multiply an object like in the pre-release video?

Also, do you know why the script

      (lefty-0.5)*300+slider('hover')*150

won't work in a thruster controller box? without the '-0.5', it seems to work, but I can't get it to do what I'm trying to.

that worked fine for me though the controls were switched so I did this

      -(lefty-0.5)*300+slider('hover')*150

      slider("Zero",0) <--Slider has a default position of 0 instead of 0.5
      .

How do I make the keyboard keys start at default position of Zero
      or can't I?
like what I want is to not be able go backwards with a motor but start at zero

=Mr Planet= wrote:How do i make a magnet controlled by a joystick's "X" button? I have seen the joystick support, but it did'nt help much, an answer would be great, thanks! :tada: Also i have discovered that if you make a slight error in joint names (ie. putting " instead of ') SketchyPhysics 3.0 cannot be loaded and you need to reload SketchUp.

Set the magnet strength to something like:

      Code: Select all
      x*300.0

can we assign other keyboard buttons to controls other than WASD & arrow keys?

I'm sorry if I'm bugging you but in spiv are you going to have a concave hull or at least a staticmesh that is movable when you
group it twice in stead of bugsplating. that would be very helpful
