I had a HP laptop with XP. Sketchup work perfectly. My HP got stolen and I replaced it with a Dell laptop with Vista. I now have the reverse face selection problem and the 'correct reverse picking driver bug' option did not help resolve the problem.
I have updated my graphic card driver and Sketchup and still have the problem. Is this a Vista problem. graphic card problem or Sketchup problem? It is extremely frustrating to use Sketchup now.

I am fairly new to SketchUp so the first three stages I was able to do, but ruby techniques is something I need to study up on. I am reading the SketchUp Ruby API Deveoper's Guide now. Hopefully I will be able to complete the last stages of the snake tutorial you so graciously provided me after reading the guide.
I now see the range of designs capabilities with SketchUp are far beyond what I thought. Very impressive program and community forum. I am hooked.

Does anybody know an easier way to make a snake which requires tabored curved cylinders. Here is a tutorial I made to illustrate the method I used. It took quite a bit of time and the results were not as smooth as I would want.
