Looks like an optic illusion. Great sketchy look.

Really nice work
How come when I click on the third image the enlargement only shows the top half?
Bug I guess. Happens to me too

Nice TW render.
How did you dent the bottom squares?Offset the top then push the surface inside. Also made a very small bevel on those dented cubes, unnoticeable, but avoids sharp edges and brings realism.
Thanks Gilles didn't knew about it.

RE: [WIP] turfstone pavers
Wow that's stunning ! I guess that fitted into a more complex scene with 3D buildings and urban equipment would take a lot of time to render unless using a render-farm will solve the time problem Anyway... nowadays you can't even notice the difference between some renders and reality, just that renders are much cleaner than the real thing, that's why you achieved making a scene and a render that looks like a real picture

How did you modeled that spheres?Didn't modeled the sphere. Used one from 3D Warehouse but multiplied polygons with Artisan Geodesic spheres you'll find in the 3D Warehouse have a small number of triangulations, but smoothed looks better even if they are low-poly by default.

RE: My First Car
In the 3D Warehouse it's an Audi RS5 very good modeled , use that honeycomb it has for the front air intakes
Here it is : http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=16f3e3dbb1c1ed8af2cdad303f49c9f9&prevstart=0

Great details. Looking forward to see a fogyish render Keep it up !

Cube Scene
Here is a render of a scene I made inspired by an iPhone wallpaper a friend showed me at the University
Smoothed the sphere to match reality. Beveled the cube edges maybe a little bit more than the original image. Just didn't want to copy it but make a reinterpretation.

RE: The making of 2008 BMW E92 M3 GTR
That is great. Those reflections.. yum yum. Do you know where can I get those HDRi skies you used ? Or some quality but free HDRi's ? Thanks

RE: My First Car
Not bad at all. Design on the side is nice too, with that directed air intake

RE: 2 church designs
I like the first design more than the 2nd. Catholic churches both ? That frontone of the second church reminds of the 15th century religious architecture in Moldavia with open porches guided by tall windows or columns with top arches inspired from middle ages cathedrals in Central-Western Europe.
Well, they look way better than what is being built in our country (Cathedral of Salvation from Bucharest).
Keep up. Waiting to see some renders with backgrounds or HDRi.
