seriously what the hell are you talking about

RE: Traditional beauty
great work, great texturing and attention to detail. my only crit is that the image of the woman is a bit noisier than the rest of your render, but only a minor point.
good stuff

RE: Digital painting tests
love the gouache and water on rough styles pete. Not sure if it is the scene or the style that impresses me more! good work as usual

RE: Tower blocks
hi stinkie,
why have u chosen this particular subject? nice render (2nd one) although if u cropped the first one i think it would look better. i like how u can just about see the tower behind, kinda sinister.

RE: Quick study of an old fisherman's head
hello michalis! nice work again, although I think he's got a strange expression on his face....kind of grimacing, I think it may be the lines on his cheeks/around his eyes.

RE: Barcelona Pavilion
I've seen loads of renders of the Barcelona Pavilion, however, yours are the most convincing i've seen.....not in terms of just pure realism but you have encapsulated the true character of the building. The proportions seem spot on, you can actually buy the plans with the gridiron system illustrated if you want to make it absolutely true.
The textures are fantastic....just like they are in reality. Now all you need to complete the scene are the really obnoxious spanish security guards
Nice work, takes me back to my barcelona trips
[edit] metals in vray look awesome, so life like

RE: Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao

RE: Podium animation's
ive already commented on this on the podium forum but, again, nice work.

RE: Lets call it "The renders I've failed to achive"...
I tried to make realistic 3D smoke in Podium with no clipmaps etc.
Needless to say "I failed to achieve"
Might try it again some time.

RE: [SPLIT TOPIC] Vray and exteriors question
yeah go to the vray and podium websites to see what the renderers are really capable of.
It would probably be more help if you posted images of your work so people can advise you on how to improve the renders. whether it be on this forum or the relative render program form. You can get photorealistic results with both vray and podium (for internal and external) its just a case of how well u can tweak the settings and how much detail there is in your model.

RE: LightUp WIP
im guessing its hdr lighting again? i saw another image on lightup website that u made using hdr to the same scheme, beautiful. this is what podium is missing IMO.
very nice work btw, cant wait to see it with all the water and plants etc. have u tried using the animated textures to water?
do u mind sharing grass texture?
