My [free] SectionCutFace works fine in all current SketchUp versions.
It is quite different to the new v2018 simplistic section-face tool.
Its section-cuts are editable, its faces can be colored individually etc...
But if you want total flexibility for section-cuts then I suggest that you buy Skalp...
