    • RE: [Plugin] 2D Tools

      Hi Tig

I am sorry to bother you with something that may sound so simple but I am trying to download your plug-in 2D tools and I always get comets like “time out”....basically i don't manage to download it. Is it because my internet connection speed in Indonesia is too slow, is it that I do something wrong. If you have a suggestion I will be glad to hear from you. Thank you in advance for taking time to answer.

    • Missing measurements every time I export or import.

      Hi everyone

My Name is Nikos and I am new in this forum and I must also say that I am fairly new with SketchUp. I would like kindly ask a question to all the experts.

When I am finished with a SketchUp drawing usually I also have measurements as part of the drawing. Then I export the SketchUp drawing into AutoCAD in order to be able to print 1 to 1 scale drawings while making furniture moulds.
However when the SKP file is converted from into DWG and thus I open the AutoCAD file, every time I notice that the measurements do disappear.
Therefore while in AutoCAD I have to painstakingly re do the whole thing again by placing each measurement at the designated points. This problem does also happen when I import AutoCAD drawings into SketchUp.

Can anybody tell me how to make sure when I export a SketchUp file into AutoCAD the whole data is transferred into the AutoCAD Drawing without missing the measurements including when I import in SketchUp.

Your answer will be very much appreciated and I thank you in advance for any kind of information that will lead me to resolve this problem.
