I really really wish that Skethchup 2016 would have Real time Ambient occlusion! That would save some years in my life from rendering works.

RE: [Plugin] Compo Spray 1.4.2 Updated
Thanks so much Oxer and MTriple. Your file works perfectly with my sketchup 2014!
To anyone who using Windows and still can't install it: Please extract files(ComposprayToolbar.rb and 1 folder Compospray) to "C:\Program Files (x86)\SketchUp\SketchUp 2014\Tools".
DON'T EXTRACT FILES TO "C:\Users\XX\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUp 2014\SketchUp\Plugins"
AND IF THEY WERE THERE (Because you tried to install it) Just DELETE. -

RE: [Plugin] ComponentReporter++ v1.2
Hi TIG, Thank you so much for your powerful script. I'm using it to do my construction schedules. It helps me a lot. Could you please add a modification that allow me to get volume numbers for components? (my components are solid ready). I don't have much Ruby knowledge and was failed to do it my self.

RE: Google SketchUp vs. 3dsMax
I always suggest my friends to try Sketchup and inspire them by showing how can I quickly do things from small object detail to large urban model.
I only need 3dsmax when client ask for some WOW images.
SU is must have tool for designer. It takes a 3D guy only few weeks to start to drive like a sport car.
Cheers,

RE: Back to Rhino aggain!!
Thank Jeff for your quick test and correct my point, I've also drawn an ant and our galaxy without any bug.
I had this scaling problem long time ago when I tried to import from Rhino to sketchup 8. It was a complicated part of a washing machine. That bug might happened to only me.

RE: Issue with Revit Imported File
Please search on sketchucation for a plugin which make sketchup layer transform to sketchup materials. Revit export .dwg and generate layers like Wall, Glas, Frame ...These layers remain when import to sketchup. That will help you quickly paint the whole model in the first step.

RE: Back to Rhino aggain!!
Dear All,
I've been using Sketchup for 7 years and have some tips to share about crashed:
1)Actually Modelling program like CAD, MAX, Rhino and Sketchup always have a limitation of precision. You will never be able to draw an ant standing on earth and flying around the sun. It's computing limitation.
So, sometime my sketchup crashed when I tried to import(paste) a model with very small details (1/10 millimeter) into an large scale urban masterplan (20 kilometer).
2)And you should clean your sketchup file to be sure that there is no Vray materials. That things make me crashed sometime too.
3)Have you recently install some extra plugins for sketchup? Some of them will make you crashed when you apply materials to object or move etc...
