Thanks for the advice, but I traced the problem to an outdated version of v-ray. Apparently a new release was recently made available that fixes such bugs. Still great advice for future problems.

Problem rendering out in V-Ray, PLEASE HELP!!
I am having problems rendering an interior scene. The problem I'm having is that after I hit the render button, V-Ray processes the scene for about 5 minutes, then cancels the render. There is no error message, it just stops processing the scene. I tried rendering smaller scenes on the same machine with the same session of S.U. & V-Ray open and it works fine. This leads me to believe that it is a problem with this particular file. Other things I have tried is to turn off all of the furniture, make the entire model a component (cutting it's size by 70%), try numerous vispot files, but nothing has worked so far. Is it possible that the file is corrupted?
The model I'm working with is 30.9 MB, and has lots of furniture & lighting components which I fear may be too complex for my machine to handle when rendering. The machine I'm running it on has an Intel duo core 2.83 Ghz processor and 3.5 GB of RAM, so I can't believe that I'm overloading the machine, but my experience with V-Ray is limited. Thanks for any help or advice.
