So, you either buy a plugin to try and fix
You fix it yourself manually
You try and learn how to add a Shrink Wrap in Blender
You hire someone to do the donkey work
You privately share the file with someone who could quickly identify the problem
Basically you need either pockets or time.
I will look into each one to see which is best, thanks for the help!

Here's a free STL exporter/importer

Blender has a means of shrink wrapping meshes
it is annoying as I used my normal methods of designing on sketchup (normally solid) but on this one it isnt solid

If it say group and solid inspector is highlighting errors then it needs more clean up to heal it.
Thanks, What would you suggest? I thought about exporting as STL and using an application to shrink wrap, but I dont know of any free versions

That is the Layer it is on.
Does it just say Group?
Can you share the SketchUp file? You can upload 4mb files here to the forum
I cant really share it, it is 25mb haha, and I am unsure on how solidsolver works, I have got solid inspector to work but unsure on the solver also It says 'Group (1 in model)'

Is the geometry a group/component?
If so, does it report that it is Solid? To check go to Window > Entity Info and select the grouped object and see if the info says Solid.
If not the your geometry has some geometry preventing this from occurring.
There are various tools to identify the errors. Thomthom's Solid Inspector will highlight errors and TIG's Solid Solver will attempt to correct it.
Thanks, I have grouped it, and all it says is layer 0

STL Cleanup from Sketchup
Hi,
I have made a sketchup file, and I converted it to STL and it has a lot of problems, so firstly I tried to solve these within sketchup my checking all faces intersect/ all are sealed etc and they are, so I was thinking of a get around would be to shrink-wrap it but I cannot find any way of shrink-wrapping it or doing a STL cleanup?
Any advice or help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Nick
