Chaos people solved this for me: A recommended workflow to achieve transparency of glass in a .png image would be to adjust the settings of the glass material. In the 'Refraction' rollout, change the 'Affect channels' parameter to 'Color + alpha'.

RE: Vray 3.4 - Transparent glass for postproduction, help needed
I think I wasn't clear enough before. I want my render output to have reflections and refraction on glass materials, but still be transparent so I can easely import background image. Do I have to use layers (render elements) now to get that?
Thanks!

Vray 3.4 - Transparent glass for postproduction, help needed
Hi All
in V-ray 2.0, PNG output, glass materials were transparent by default, so it was easy to insert background in post production.
How to set it up in 3.4?Thanks!
