I really like this technique. I've done something similar in the past with hand drawn/hand rendered stuff (yikes), but this just inspired me to play around with exported images from SU.

I'm a landscape architect and I've been using SketchUp for a few years on projects. I've decided that I need to refine my skills and try to learn some of the more expert aspects of the program, and hopefully learn a few new tips and tricks along the way to help make things faster.
