(eval):110The model I am cleaning up is very simple and these errors seem to occur after completing one (sometimes two) previous cleanup operations.
I hope this information is of some use ?
I am also experiencing a lot of Sketchup Pro crashes, without any crash reports being generated.
I am using Sketchup Pro 8.0.11751 on Mac OS X 10.7.2. Hardware is a iMac 2.93Ghz Core 2 Duo with 8Gb of DDR3 RAM.
Thanks for the excellent plugin.
Kind regards,
Marek

RE: Let's have a Hardware speed test for SU
After reading other posts I thought I would turn shadows on first and run the speed test...
Then I turned shadows off..

RE: Strange SU 8 Pro behaviour
Complaint duly filed with their support department. Thank you for your help with his annoying "feature".

RE: Strange SU 8 Pro behaviour
Sorry for coming across as a complete idiot, but that do you mean by "It's ShaderLight" ? Why would a rendering tool want me to keep saving my work ?

RE: Strange SU 8 Pro behaviour
Thank you for your offer to look at my plugins listing. I enclose it as requested.

Strange SU 8 Pro behaviour
I hope everyone had a good Xmas.
I am not really sure then this behaviour started but I have really noticed most since SU 8 came along. I don't understand why opening a skp file, selecting an object and copying that it should prompt SU 8 to ask me if I want to save the changes I have made to the file. I have made no changes, merely copied an object to the clipboard.
Is it just me that has an issue with this or do other see this behaviour as well?
Is there any way to turn off the constant reminders to save files where nothing has changed ?
Given the absurd time it takes SU 8 (on a Mac) to save a file this is becoming a real pain to deal with.
Many thanks and Happy New Year.

Greetings from Wolverhampton
Just a quick post to say hello from Wolverhampton in the UK. I see there is someone on the forum from Birmingham.. lovely model of Coleshill Church.
I have been using Sketchup Pro 7 for about 6 months. I used it to design a new product from the ground up and it has been, for the most part, a very pleasant experience.
I look forward to reading and interacting with the other users and guru's on this forum.
Cheers,
Marek
