    • 'Be My Eyes' What a realy great idea!

      Hi All,

Just came across an iPhone app called Be My Eyes. Basically its a way for blind folks the get online help from seeing folks.

The app is free if anyone wants to volunteer their time to help out. Here is a link which goes into detail,

Be My Eyes app lets you lend your eyes to the blind

and here is the link to the free app,

Maybe it might even be possible to help / work with a blind person wanting to create their own SketchUp models?

Trevor, the road and nearest part of the path to the right is PS'ed in using the clone stamp tool and warp tool. I altered a single stone texture (house walls) to make the left hand path, copings, roof tiles and window surrounds, all other textures are native SU. The couple and trees are all made from images, PS'ed into PNG components. Hope I've explained this ok?
      thanks

Great technique, thanks for sharing πŸ‘

Brooke, they look dejected to me, makes me feel like stopping and giving them a lift. I always get a warm feeling inside when I see an old couple holding hands πŸ˜„

Great scene John, I'd say more a case of holding each other up πŸ˜„ Taking a lift (or ride as the Americans call it) might be refused unless it was in something with super suspension! The cobble stones would, I'd imagine, give a bumpy ride!

Might also be cool to work with for line art!
