Some flavours cause more throat hit than others, especially citrus ones.
If you want something smooth I recommend a blend of 70/30 VG/PG as opposed to 50/50 VG/PG.
It's the PG that can catch your throat, not the VG.
PG carries flavour well and VG creates good clouds.
And yeah, play round with your device settings.....start low and increase to where you like it. If it tastes bad, go backwards haha
Exactly so Oli
Here I am.
he he
Of course I managed this e-cig thing. (As I mastered the other Blender monster LOL)
Two years into the vapeland. No smoking, not at all.
I vape a 6mg 50/50 PG VG DIY. On a ~1.7 Ohm. ~ 4.2 V / 10.4 W (the Ohm's Law)
I tried sub Ohm, however I found that a lower than 3mg might work for me. Well, it didn't. -
RE: A sad day for all
"Our constitution does not copy the laws of neighbouring states; we are
rather a pattern to others than imitators ourselves. Its administration
favours the many instead of the few; this is why it is called a
democracy. If we look to the laws, they afford equal justice to all in
their private differences; if no social standing, advancement in public
life falls to reputation for capacity, class considerations not being
allowed to interfere with merit; nor again does poverty bar the way, if
a man is able to serve the state, he is not hindered by the obscurity of
his condition. The freedom which we enjoy in our government extends also
to our ordinary life. There, far from exercising a jealous surveillance
over each other, we do not feel called upon to be angry with our
neighbour for doing what he likes, or even to indulge in those injurious
looks which cannot fail to be offensive, although they inflict no
positive penalty. But all this ease in our private relations does not
make us lawless as citizens. Against this fear is our chief safeguard,
teaching us to obey the magistrates and the laws, particularly such as
regard the protection of the injured, whether they are actually on the
statute book, or belong to that code which, although unwritten, yet
cannot be broken without acknowledged disgrace.Thucydides

RE: Mp3 to Wav converter
+1 @Rich
Audacity is a fine cross platform application.
For OSX users, XLD is a fine free app.
(supporting DSD to PCM conversion, flac, apple lossless, wav, aiff, mp3 etc etc)

RE: A boy and his dog
Yes my dear Pilou.
Absolutely normal.
Noticed the syrian boy? Almost blond, yes? Is it normal? Of course it is, lot of syrians are blonds.
Noticed his cloths, his shoes etc etc? Everything normal? Of course it is, syrians are not from outer space.
The truth "is not out there", you see.
Mostly kidding, as you do.
Unfortunately we both are a minority in this uncivilized european community. -
A boy and his dog
Aslan has carried his dog, Rose, all the way from Syria to Greece.
Is not that difficult to become a refugee.
Not a sci fi movie. It happens today.
Some more photos of pets refugees. -
RE: Iran_Iraq war scene
No blockage for me.
In greece I mean.
Horrible! As all wars are.
Well, textures looking OK, CG looks OK…
However I'm not in the mood. Sorry.
You have to see dead children in the beautiful beaches of greek islands these days.
Our Syrian brothers, right, brothers they are.
Not in the mood these days, not really.
My dear Majid, no free countries exist. A lie only. -
RE: Any smokers here? Wanna quit?
Thanks so much for the replays, really appreciate it.

1.6-1.8ohm coil at between 6-8watts.
See how personal it is?
I'm aware of these settings, didn't work for me. It is drinking not smoking.
Such settings made me almost quit e-cig.
A continuous wet frrr frrrr, mouth full of liquid. Not for me. A friend of mine, using similar settings, has no issues.
The way I'm using coil at 1.6, 1.8 Ω : above 12, probably 15 watts.
On a coil ~0.5 Ω, above 20 watts.
Keep in mind, I hate lung inhale.
Probably I'm after something closer to pipe smoking? Halo "longhorn" flavor is also closer to pipe tobacco. Somehow… I'm back on the game. -
RE: Any smokers here? Wanna quit?
I didn't find a device not leaking yet.
Just lost ~400 euros, buying and listening to idiots.
Smoking habits are very personal. Nothing good for me yet.
The closest to my taste, maybe, the GS-Air M by eleaf, cooking these resistors (~1.2-1.5 Ω) at 4.35V.
Not a cool vaping, however no flooding this way.
@Oli
No leaking so far, over flooding is my problem. -
RE: Any smokers here? Wanna quit?
@unknownuser said:
Yep, we have all probably had an incident or two with flooding…
No, no, five people here, this is not an incident. Flooding always, always.
Probably a bad equipment, this nautilus. I wonder though, how you manage such an unfortunate thing.
Still wondering.
IMO,this small resister thing. Problematic at least. The cotton? Who knows.I wish you were sounding like a preacher…
Sorry. It doesn't work for me, no, for us…
I wish it would. -
RE: Any smokers here? Wanna quit?
My problem with vaping:
I would like to be able to "smoke", not to "drink"
My setup: iStick TC40W, aspire Nautilus (large 6ml / ~1.8 Ω)
Now testing "Halo" liquid, "Longhorn" flavor.
Not bad at all, however, sometimes I find myself rather drinking than smoking.
(yeah, using the largest hole for the air) (tested 8.5-10.5 W)edit:
Just trashed this expensive aspire nautilus. I really enjoyed the sound.
back in cigarettes, the real ones, the dangerous ones.
Sorry, I better be a smoker than a drinker.
Can't give up, too much for me. Though I spent ~400 euros in two weeks, for nothing.I asked a few friends about it.
Funny, they all share the same opinion.
So, I'm asking, what's up doc ?
How do you manage this drinking thing? -
RE: Any smokers here? Wanna quit?
Count me too.
Using an iStick (40W from Eleaf) and an Aspire Nautilus head. Additionally a GS air-M head, which gives a more pleasant vaping on certain flavors-juices. (IMO of course)
Good bye ash trays….
BTW (under blender) it was my last ash tray concept for heavy smokers (and chocolates lovers as well he he ) -
RE: Some blender sculpting
Fine sculpting, expected from you, Majid.
You might like to turn on AO on N panel (real time OGL AO). It doesn't hurt performance and really helps sculpting preview. Combine it with the down left matcap (the grey one). The only one matcap makes sense to me.
SRX, Krisidious, thanks for the kind comments, too kind actually.
I hope to find some free time, to be back to this amazing 3d sculpting world. -
RE: A new irregular pentagon that can cover a plane
From a 3d topological perspective though,
The yellow pentagons are actually hexagons.
