Salut !
Euh, le format STL, c'est bien le format INVENTOR, nan ? Si c'est pas ça, est ce qu'on peut importer du inventor dans SU ?
Merci !

RE: [Plugin] Recall last tool v1.2
Hi Pecan! Your method does not work with ruby tools, as expected...
A new version has been posted in the first post. It fixes a bug found by Simon Le Bon. Thank you Simon! -
RE: SPHERE

RE: Keep a tool running in the background?
Remus,
Actually all Zoom tools can be semi-invoked. Perhaps a special class...@unknownuser said:
i dont think you can semi-invoke any other tools.
Aaar.... I hope you're wrong, Remus!!
PS: Great new modelling challenge..

RE: [Code] Tool ID Constants - Rev. 2
Hi all!
Chris,
How do you use these CMD objects? -

the Orbit tool can be "semi-invoked" and then you return to the original tool.
Aaaah Adam!!!! HOW can I create a ruby that can be semi-invoked, pleeeeaaaaase?
I asked for that here Some time ago...Thank you!

RE: OnActiveToolChanged - What RubyTool is it?
You can identify active tool by its ID. Each tool has its own ID. You can't know its name. Try a look here, I played with tool IDs...

RE: Observers !
Ok thank you thomthom! I'm trying with other ways, I'll tell you if they work...

RE: Observers !
Ok, thank you Thomthom. I see how these functions could help me.
I try with code below, and none of
onTransaction...functions works... Is it normal... Am I stupid?
I really really don't understand the matter...
Can you help me thomthom, please???Thank you!

RE: A propos d'Autocad

RE: Observers !
Hi thomthom! And thank you for your quisk answers!

I have a matter with all
onTransaction.... I don't know how to use them...
The problem is I get a bug splat with because of entities created/modified by ruby. Why can these functions (onTransaction...) help me???
Therefore, The questions are :- Is these functions can stop bug splat with
Test.start_E? - Can I return class of an entity modified/created by ruby, qith entity-observers functions?
- Is these functions can stop bug splat with

RE: Observers !
Hi!
Sorry for the delay! And sorry for all these questions below
I dig up this old post. Rick, you said observer must do nothing when entity is modified/created by ruby.
Is it the only solution?
@unknownuser said:
Google is aware of the issue.
And they found a work around? or else? Do you have some news?
I am writing a ruby that push each entity in a layer by its typename. First it moves all existing entities, and next it uses an entity observer to move each new entity into its layer. Naturally (and sadly) it bugs with entities created by ruby...
SU 7 has same bug.. Do you have any other solution, please?
I don't understand Herodes suggestion... What ModelObserver.OnTransactionEndcan do?PS: I've attached a code that shows the problem. Load it and enter
Test.start_Ein the console. Let console opened. Script puts each entity's class. It works great with native drawing tools. But It bugs with ruby drawing tools (like Fredo6's Tools on surface).

RE: Is there any vertex editing plugin?
Oh! Ok thank you!! Thought though tough... You guys are crazy...

@unknownuser said:
Btw, thanks for the advice. I will test it. (from what you are telling me, does it works AFTER the curves were made into solids?)
It works after conversion of edges in special curves... When you convert edges in one curve (by the "weld" plugin), Editing context menu (from Fredo6) doesn't appear. You have to convert curve into "polyline" in the context menu. Even if polylines ARE curves, Editing context menu appears after last conversion.I don't know what you mean by "solid", I hope you mean "curve". Curve are joined edges.
Juste one last thing, this plugin can't edit more of one vertex at a time.

RE: Position of a point
Ah great!! It works perfectly!
vector.length.... I didn't aware of that!
Thank you Chris! -
Position of a point
Hi all!
Answer is certainly easy, but I don't know how to do...I want to find position of a point, determining by :
- Position of an initial point
- Distance
- Vector
How can I find this point?

RE: Is there any vertex editing plugin?
Fredo's plugin "Bezier" can do what you want, thought. You'll need Weld plugin to convert lines into curve. After conversion, you have to convert into polyline (choose "Convert to"/polyline) And you'll be able to edit vertices.
