The local spawner technique worked very well, thanks again for your help, saved my render 😆

      2 things to try

      1. Increase you Dynamic Memory limit

      2. Try rendering using 64 bit using the local Spawner technique.

(Are you using displacement? Proxies?) A 25MB file should not be crashing. I have rendered 100MB files in 2.0 on 2013 with similiar machine specs no problem.

Yes, I'm using vegetation proxies and some displacement in the road and grass but it's not too much, like 2 or 3 materials. I'll try the local spawner technique and then I'll post the results. Thanks!

    • Vray crashing on render

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and I know that this is an old topic and has many answers but, even using the search, none of them could help me to solve my problem.

I'm using VRay 2.0 and Sketchup 2013 and I'm trying to render a medium size file (around 25mb) in a high output quality (3000x2250) but everytime it crashes. I know sketchup is a 32 bit program and it uses only 3.5gb of ram.

I already tried to purge my model (lines, faces, materials...), to render in .VRimg .EXR and .hdr (with and without the preview window) and it keeps crashing.

      If it is usefull:
      My system: Intel Core i7 3632QM @ 2.2Ghz, 8Gb DDR3 Ram, AMD Radeon 7730M 2Gb and Windows 8

P.S.: If you need any other information just ask and I'll provide it. Thanks
