Hey, I'm trying to understand all the settings. I can't see anything about it in the manual. I'm talking about thickness, bend, damper, shear and all that. Am I missing something?
I'm trying to drape an object with a silk cloth and either it falls through the colliders or the thickness makes it sit up above the colliders too much. Also from what I understand there is an interplay between the grid size and some of the settings for cloth/collider. Is that right? It would be great if that could be covered in some way. Also, tooltips would be welcome for the settings. What are the numbers really, are they linked to the used unit or are they percentage? It's a little unclear. Don't get me wrong, I love it. I just don't understand it. I wanna learn more.

I don't think converging pins works on MacOS. The handles change while holding the control-key but I can't actually converge them. Anton can you check?

Purchased. It's going to be exciting using it.
I'm on Mac/SU2018 and the toggle UI window/button doesn't work. It shows up once but if I toggle it by hitting the button it never shows up again until i shut down and restart SU.Thanks for an important report! I will fix this by as soon as tomorrow (if possible).
Also found that I have to activate license on each SU restart.

RE: Internal faces and/or edges connected to more than two faces
Ok, thanks. I will make sure to save the model if I run into it again. Thanks again for a great plugin!

RE: Internal faces and/or edges connected to more than two faces
Thanks for your replies. Yes, that was Solid Inspector 2 I tried. Unfortunately I recreated the model from scratch being sure to check that SubD was able to run all along the modeling process. So therefor I can't upload it. My question was more of an "in general" kind of question. Are there other smart ways of find the "errors" in the mesh when SubD can´t resolve it? Other plugins maybe that can be helpful?
By the way, when I did recreate everything it all worked nice and I'm pretty pleased with the result. -
Internal faces and/or edges connected to more than two faces
Thanks for a magnificent plugin.
I've run into a problem with internal faces and/or edges connected to more than two faces after scaling down my model. Now I can't find a way to clean it up. Got any ideas on how to proceed? I've used Solid Inspector which thinks everything's OK. I checked with section cuts without finding any internal faces. I tried scaling the mesh up alot but SubD still thinks something's wrong. Are there any other tools or tricks to find out why SubD gives that error message? SubD can't resolve the error itself and I don't find any problem with the mesh. -
RE: [Plugin] Make Fur v.2.1.0(20140323)
Thanks TIG. That sounds like a sofisticated way. Never ran anything from the Ruby console. I'll give it a try.
I did however use the make crowd option and found it to produce a somewhat more pleasing result. -
RE: [Plugin] Make Fur v.2.1.0(20140323)
I've read the documentation and this whole thread but I still can't get my head around the axis configuration.
I have this component
and I want the flag's front face facing the camera but all I get is this
If i fiddle with direction and force I can kinda close to what I'm aiming for
but the flags are tilted and I still think that I'm missing something here. Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks guys!
