That's genius, Eric.

RE: :Holiday Cards:
I gave up on mailing postcards in 2014. It was a fun thing to do, but maybe only 2/3 made it to their destinations every year. Either with people moving or companies weeding out the spam in snail mail.

:Holiday Cards:
I'm just wrapping up my 2016 holiday card and thought it wwould be fun to post up some old cards on instagram every few days.. figured I'd throw them up here too. I should have maybe 10 years worth, but I lost a couple in a hard drive crash maybe 8 years ago. I should still have hard copies somewhere.

RE: A table
nice detail.
i dare say leave off the line overlay since you've got all those nice rounded edges.

RE: ::Restaurant:: 3d Panorama
You've got the right project, Richard. They didn't mind paying for the fish tank, but unfortunately, no one could come up with a convenient way to access it and clean it since it couldn't be reached from above and then they lost interest. A few things were bounced around, even some kind of hologram?? but ultimately, this is what was decided on.
I just got a bunch of pics of this job and its getting very close and its pretty damn spot on to the design (for once). I'll share them when its more complete.

RE: RFA Fort Victoria
amazing stuff, liam. the detail in the model is great. wish i had that kind of patience. i really like the feel of this last image with the hard shadows. can't wait to see the animation.

RE: ::Restaurant:: 3d Panorama
not the model... because then obviously you wouldnt have the lighting, etc anyway.. but a render done with a spherical lens at a 2:1 resolution.

RE: ::Restaurant:: 3d Panorama
Thanks Bryan. Rendered in Thea and that host its on, Roundme, takes care of the VR portion. Just upload the images and drag them around to create hotspots..super simple.

RE: VChukhovich's Gallery: Concept Art
very cool.. glad you finally got around to posting some work. I'm going to check out your gallery now.
I bounce between the same two industries as well (tv more than film), although at a much lower level..haha..

RE: :Rey's Speeder:
that's really nice, pete.. as usual I slacked on the small details like around the thrusters. sandbox tools + a png texture worked out well for the netting.
there were some updates since this, and it is a 'little' more detailed but I never exported any images.

RE: Upholstered furniture
I love this thread. Even with the instructions, I still don't know how you do it.
