It is indeed a very odd thing. I removed the length-snapping in the Units setting to see if that helped etc, but the box will rotate/snap into place, BUT not perfectly as there is always a ~3mm 'overlap'... I suspect it's a tolerance thing. The project is quite large, and very small and very larger geometry will always have issues... Deleting the large surface below the stadium changes the overlap to only ~2mm ! You also have a couple of components ['Gruppe#nnn'] in the browser that seen to have no geometry in their thumbnail - perhaps their origin is miles from the geometry - which can cause weir clicking and snapping issues...

Hello everyone, I am an avid sketchup user for over 10 years(in the profession of architecture) and want to make the break from most other programs in my workflow to really only using sketchup and layout in my own practice. I don't own my own computer, but want to buy one soon so that I can start working for myself. If anyone has any hints and suggestions of what to buy and where to buy it would help a lot. Not much of a tech guy, I can use a computer but have no idea of how to build one. I'm also not interested in realistic type rendering but I do a lot of work with advanced styles in sketchup (which I've found some problems in my graphics card at work related to advanced style manipulation). Mainly want a computer to run sketchup pro, layout, photoshop, photosketcher, and basic office software. Looking for desktop tower and two HD monitors. I do some masterplanning related site annimations also. any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Josh

As I told you in my last PM, I do almost all of my drawing and editing in situ and this is one of the reasons. Haha, we all build models holding thousands and thousands of seats I built a fairly detailed stadium with over 100k seats a while ago (http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=ab540be05531814078c5a8ac7702b7f3), and liverpudlian built a similar sized model for Argentina also. My graphics card is a NVIDIA Geforce 6150SE nForce 430. You lot probably know that is hardly the best hard drive Anyway, I too would like to find a solution, although my current method dosent take too long.
