the square plate is flat, when you pull the circle through the plate and intersect with selected the top face distorts
any ideas?

Ive had a problem with FM for years, simple tasks no problem , but make the path a bit complex and it seems to twist and screw everything up, flat planes get distorted
Any ideas or extensions anyone can recommend?

Nothing. Just don't set the extension loading permissions too strict.

I found a refurbished Mac Pro (trash can) from a good supplier on eBay for $1600
The spec of this thing is amazing
Does anyone have experience of one of these and how are the graphics, I presume still good as it is 4 years old
I can't justify spending $3-4K on a new one that old and the new one in December will be crazy money
Let me know your thoughts

I found the problem
My old pc worked well with my 2 5 year old 32" screens
So I hooked the Mac mini up to my 65" in the living room and I could change the resolution to fit
When I tried it with the smaller screen the resolution I needed wasn't there
Put it back on the big one.... no problem

Just switched to Mac and my categories above the toolbar , such as view, window and help are missing
