Hypercosm provides software and services to create and deploy interactive web-based 3D simulations for training, courseware, manuals, websites, and product visualizations.
I like the idea... but the interface is kinda reversed on everything... from SU... meaning... the mouse scrolls in reverse and rotates in reverse... it's kinda like drving your car backwards... hard to do for very long
but kool to have 3D without having to open SU
is there a way to convert a regular group or component into sketchy solids?
that's because the Physics are not global... it's just a small area around the axis...
is there or could there be, a way to turn on a shader, that would shade or highlight the area in which SketchyPhysics was available with in the model.
know what I mean? there is an area in which the Physics work and one where it does not, I'd like to see that area...

Thanks Chris, you have managed to make the one thing on the planet that makes me regret not having a PC.
Sure sounds like you guys are having a fun time...........
why not run that Windows Emulator....?
I found the controls pretty good, I got how to move stuff and throw stuff, and drop it. and I liked the bars...
just thinking about the future of this... if you'd like to know what I would do if I could...
test my architecture... wind shear, snow loads, live loads, tension stress... that kind of thing...
I tested something last night with it... I took the bricks in the terrain test file, and shrunk them down to about the size of a small rock... then copied them over an over and over until there were hundreds and hundreds of them in a cluster hanging in the air waiting on me to drop em... I wanted them to fall all at once and seem to be a fluid pour of small objects... but what I got was a few dropping at a time... by OC'd E4300 couldn't handle it...
well this is very exciting stuff thanks so much for sharing and for building it... I can't wait to learn more...
with the backhoe digging I mean you would seperate the dug out part my grouping... it would be fake but look somewhat real...
can I assign weight to an object, like a brick, and a 2x4 and a concrete pad, and then weigh the whole structure?
oh yeah with this ruby you can make a model of our solar system, and then have collisions...
you can have a car driving down the road...
a back hoe digging...
this is so sweet...
now can I export movies of this?
this is an awesome ruby...
when I beta test things sometimes I make another installation folder for my software, to test it... in case I mess it up...
this is pretty cool...
is there wind and water effects?
omg that's the freakiest thing ever... I love it... you rock...
I think they are doing their's externally, with something like Fraps or the like. something that records video of your screen movements.
although I'm not sure on this.
these are the only buttons I know of...
the far right button is the UI that opens a dialog box.
this is the kind of stuff I was talking about Chris... testing shapes and systems... now make glue for me... and sand and water and wind and... and... yeah I know, I'm really happy to just have this.... but I can still wish...
awesome... love the blank color... deep shadow... and destruction, soon, you could render it in destruction...
