RE: Help with 'blotchy' mirror
I have reflection/refraction on under global switches with the max depth set to 2 - worth turning it to 3 to see if that solves it?

RE: Help with 'blotchy' mirror
Thanks, but I've tried that. It's actually happening to all the reflective surfaces in my scene, it just shows up much more significantly on this mirror.

RE: Help with 'blotchy' mirror
Does anyone have any thoughts on this - it's pretty urgent as I need to sort it today. I've tried upping the samples of lights, increasing the light intensity and upping the subdivisions but still no luck.
Would seeing my settings help?

Help with 'blotchy' mirror
I'm just attempting my first interior renders with VfSU and I'm having a problem with my mirror material when I render out my final images, as seen here:
I have two settings I've been using (downloaded from elsewhere and tweaked to suit) - 'preview' and 'production' and when I render using the preview the mirror looks fine but when I switch to the production settings I get this blotchy effect. I know it's something to do with my vray settings and likely to do with subdivisions but it's driving me mad that I can't find it!
Any suggestions please folks?

RE: Floating License Query
Thanks for your reply thomthom.
Really enjoying learning the software and whilst my first attempts don't match up to some of those on here, I'm pretty pleased! Hopefully I'll be able to keep learning and contribute more to the forum in the future.

Floating License Query
Hello all. First post here so be gentle.
Iāve been browsing the forum for the past few weeks and making use of some the excellent plug-in and resources posted up here. Iāve been trialling VfSU in our office and am trying to convince the senior directors that it is a product worth purchasing but I have one question about the floating license that Iād like clarifying.
Am I right in thinking that we could purchase a āfloating licenseā which we could use across our office network rather than individual licenses for each computer? Does this cost more? I also assume that the license can only be in use by one computer at any one time.
Thanks in advance!
