I sent that ipad back and got a good laptop!

after trying out 10+ pdf readers, npne of which created pdf with clickable links, I found out I can Save from a word doc, as a pdf,

with clickable inks!

It's been so long since I've done this, but after I download Sup to my new laptop,

what do I do next after that?

can I have my SUp on two computers?

OK, I asked on the MS support forum-

The PDF functionality in Windows is very basic, it cannot create interactive PDF files, so the links will not work in the PDF version, to create an interactive PDF, you would need to use a 3rd party virtual PDF printer, some of the free versions can create an interactive PDF file.

so can anyone recommend a free program for this?

I don't see any Settings to change, maybe there's a better program to use for this?

Folks, I have a word doc, and at the bottom I put 5 links. I made all 5 by r clicking the text > Link, pasting the true url in there, and then I printed the doc to pdf using MS Print to pdf.

My issue is none of those links are clickable in the pdf? I just get the hand icon when I try. I don't remember this happening before.

This is a fun thread Bryan, it makes me remember when my parents and I built a 48' log x 25' wide trimaran in 1968. I worked every evening after school and the weekends and we got her built in record time, just over a year! Such a fine boat and we sailed her all over. Had a round the world trip all planed which never happened. My parent got divorced in the mid '70s, and sold the boat!

Folks, I'd like a small windows laptop mainly for jobsite use of viewing images, photos and my plans.png, and for looking at my SUp models. I won't be doing any major SUp modeling on it.

I just got an ipad, hoping it would fit my needs, but I can't figure it out and realize I should stick with a computer which I'm used to.

Can I get anything for under $1,000??

Yeah the scroll wheel just stopped working a few days ago. Actually the scroll wheel works for scrolling but not when I press it for orbiting. I'll try unplugging it!

which only had one USB for both the keyboard and mouse. The mouse's scroll wheel doesn't work now so I can't orbit.

can I use another mouse with its own USB or will that cause a conflict??
