RE: How do you guys texture clothing, drapes, sheets, etc?
I've got the same problem. A seemless texture is not too difficult to adjust, but a Texture like the rug in the scene above is tricky to set on the right place. where can I adjust the coordinates of the startpoint of the texture? If SU isn't able to do that, I would be pleased to know a free software to handle this thing.

RE: Some experience with twilight
an update of that scene.
I took another table, with glass and I used a modern tablecloth. The terrible flame is still the same

I love the furniture on the wall - very Italian Chic - this is very popular now in Ireland with the well to do crowd!!
In Germany too.
Very nice render. I fall in love with twilight.

RE: 70's living with Twilight and Fur plugin...
very nice render. But the ceiling and the lightsystem looks brand new. may be the 70ties interior has been renovated
What fur- settings did you use for the carpet?

Some experience with twilight
two weeks ago I bought the license of twilight render and I'm very happy with that renderer. I just started to make some experience with that programm. Theses are some modells I've found at the warehouse and I just modyfied and arranged them.

RE: Useful curved tree line
I like this very much. Thank you Oli.
If I'm allowed to make a whish: A houseline would be nice too, for backgrounds in citys

RE: Was just doing some tests
Nice scene, but I wouldn't place the hanging lamp over the sink.

Where can I get the climbing vine?
I've found the climbing vine here: http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=f0e8649b92e8a9153f774bd7ce6c6199&prevstart=0
The render Programm was not easy to find. I've tested Kerkythea, but my english wasn't good enough to understand the complicated settings of the materialeditor, then I've testet indigo render and it was to slow. IDX was easy to use but i allways have to try a long time to get the right settings. I really don't know if that was the right choice. which renderprogramm would you recommend, espiecially for interior- renderrings?

RE: My first presentation of my renders
In the meantime I continued testing the renderprogramms. Twilight is my new favorite, especially the menu in german makes it easier for me. Very good: the textures are keeping their sizes and positions. I think Twilight is very good for my first steps, getting closer to the posibilties of KT...
In the next days I m going to render the scene with Twilight and Im going to post it here.
