Wow! Can't wait to see what you would make of this in lumion!

Oh yes how could I forget! Thank you Mr. Pilou!

Yup... even I was surprised to see twinmotion being credited in their arch viz gallery. .. that said lumion is based on quest3d. . So it makes you wonder if someone is making a realtime solution based on the free unreal engine and the recently announced amazon lumberyard. ...

Even i was hoping it would be fixed... damn it!

Maybe its just me...
Perhaps they made it so that it would tax your system resources only when u really need them.. Makes sense if think like that!

From what i understand looking at all the videos of lumion is that to get a good result out of lumion one needs to apply a lot of so called filters! Hence can u call it a true WYSIWYG software? I like twinmotion approach in that regard! Lot less setup time and headache!

Great idea. Go on then ....
In the unreal marketplace there is an architect aimed bit of kit. It's called HAL. I think. Have a look. I think I mentioned it in an earlier post here. It's not twinmotion/lumion and, like your thinking, ue4 could easily be similar. Certainly cheaper. Lumion looks great now but for the price.
Well i didnt say I would be able to do it
Just putting out some ideas for some programming geniuses out here!
edit: Just looked at HAL... its seems very close to what I was suggesting!! thanks Cmeed!
forgive me if its a stupid question... but since UE4 is free for archViz now... why cant say someone take the source code and make a dumbed-down-architect-friendly version which would work similar to lumion/twinmotion and lumenrt??
wow! they have really upped their game this time around!!! the renders looks fantabulous!!!!
too bad I would have to sell a couple of body parts to buy this puppy!!
Maybe u are being unrealistic.. Haha.. But hey dont give up... Someday it will happen.. Or you could perhaps look into some more advanced applications like blender or 3dsmax with animation Capabilities! [THUMBS UP SIGN]

Ntxdave... Their fibix viewer seems to be a free downloadable tool which allows users to present their projects...

As for ur comment on products based from US.. I think unreal engine is the ultimate tool for real time visualization.. Its a full fledged game engine and as such it is complex too.. Playuptools is currently developing a plugin for sketchup to export to unreal.. And did i mention... its free...!
I agree juju.. In terms of quality they have a loong long way to go before they reach the lumion or twinmotion standards... Again.. I havent used it myself.. Was wondering how this missed our radars though!

Just came across this and was wondering if anyone has prior experience using this?
It seems to be in the same league as twinmotion and lumion and its free for non-commercial use!

Dear TIG,
I just want to tell you that this plugin of yours is a life saver!! The way i work is to xref all my individual buildings into one master site plan for quick updates! This helps me a lot!! a big big thank you from me!!!!
i really think the future lies with these real time render engines....
if only Unreal would come out with an 'ArchViz' optimized version of their game engine!!!! even if it costs a few hundred bucks I wouldnt mind!

Play up tools - might be cooking up something for unreal4.

I have tried their trial version, absolutely loved it! thanks for sharing this new version preview. If only I had the money and customers to justify buying this software I would. IMO this is the best animation software fully compatible with SU (Unreal I'm looking at you now)
Hopefully soon UE4 will be more friendly!!!

hi TIG!
Thanks for the reply!
I did have issues with the .jar file being opened with winrar. I associated the .jar file type to be opened with java.exe. But, i have no idea if it is working. Is there a way i can test it???
I cant test right now. Its in my work PC. I will try to test tomorrow at work.
Edit :
I have tested it at office now. I downloaded and installed the latest java from their website. Associated .jar files to java.exe, but still nada. I am still getting the error.
I am attaching a screen shot.
