Hi folks.
I did that a while ago for someone who asked the same question. See this SU file for ideas.

Hi folks.
See this SU file. The text in the file explain the problem.
Faces that close but should not close.skp
I wonder what is causing the problem.
Best regards.
Hi Hussein, hi folks.
The slices seem to be OK. Some are greenish and some purple. These seem to have been textured with these colors.
If it bothers you, delete these colors from color palette used in the model and when asked if you want to use the default colors for front and back, click Replace. I did it with your model and found that a few slices are reversed in regards to the majority. just right click and choose Reverse Face in the contextual menu.
Otherwise, I don't see any problem.
However, I am not familiar with this plugin. I will let experts with Slicer to get involved.

Bonjour.

Hi Hussein, hi folks.
Are you sclicing with a plugin ?
If yes, which one ?
If no, are you slicing with a Section Plane or with a geometry like a rectangular or polygonal or circular face ?
Is the model being sliced a group or a component or is it at the root of the model ?
Is the slicing geometry in the same context as the model being sliced ?
Can you provide a model or at least the part of the model that is causing problem ?

Hi Sachi, hi folks.
By default, the North direction is along the green axis. If you did not change it, measure the angle between your line and the green axis.
After clicking on the line to start the measurement procedure, slide the cursor on the protractor to get a snap from the green axis. This allows you to get the angle, even if the line doesn't intersect the green axis.

Hi KSor, hi folks.
There is no need for guide line or axes changes.
See this SU file for ideas.
Hi HG, hi folks.
You can use scenes to do that.
For example, choose the Top view (or Bottom view) then create a scene. This will allow you to rotate around the blue axis.
Repeat with the Front view (or the Back view) to be able to rotate around the green axis.
Finally, create a scene with the right or left view to be able to rotate around the red axis.
Once this is done, all you have to do is click on one of these scene tabs to get the required view. Needless to write, you can rename the scenes with Red, Green and Blue, or whatever you want instead of Scene 1, Scene 2 and Scene 3.
However, once you get the hang of it, it takes just a quick orbit to position the view in order for SketchUp to propose you the rotation plane that you want.

Hi Michael, hi folks.
Have you tried the Optionsbutton in the import dialog window to see if there is an option to merge coplanar faces.
If the import dialog window options that you have for the type of file that you use don't have such a choice, a possibility is to export the model as DWG and then reimport it back in a new file with this option checked.
This may help.

Hi folks.
Here in Quebec, you have to put winter tires no later than december 15th, its the law. Four seasons tires are not recomended since they loose their grip when temperature is below -5°C or so. Since this kind of temperature is common from December to March and sometimes April, it is much safer to use winter tires. BTW, the law prohibit 4 seasons tires in winter because of that lack of adherence in cold temperatures.
On my car, I have two sets of rims, one with winter tires and one with summer tires. I change the wheels myself, twice a year. Its only a one hour job, its good exercise and I save a few $$$.

Hi Andrew, hi folks.
If you have not found the problem and want someone to check Dave's idea, try posting the model here. Only the problematice part needs to be posted.

Hi Pier, hi folks.
If what you want is onlyto reverse an object and have only the reversed version, of course, a flip or a scale by -1 is faster, depending on which direction you want to do the mirroring operation.
My example file assumed that you wanted a mirror copyof a model. In other words, that you want to keep the original andadd a mirror copy.

Hi folks.
If you want snow, come here in the province of Quebec.
This how I cleaned the snow after a bad storm a few years ago.

A few weeks ago we got half a meter of snow.
Now, the weather peoples calls for no snow but a minimum of -26°C tonight and a balmy -20°C tomorrow.
It is supposed to warm up to -15°C for the week end.
No problem, the house is well heated and we have clothing for that and good snow tires for the car.
I don't complain when I think that it will reach 30°C (plus 30, yes) next summer.
Best regards.
Hi Dave, hi folks.
This is a trick that I posted a while ago. It also works with 3D objects. It takes one more step to complete the job. See this SU file for ideas.

If you right click on the name of a group or component in the Outliner windowto get a contextual menu and then choose Zoom extentsin this menu, the view zooms on this particular group or particular instance of this component.

Wow! Didn't know that .
I posted that to show that there are a lot of usefull functions that are often overlooked since many new (and not so new) users forget to check if a context menu is available for objects or items or dialog or tools, or whatever.
The first thing that I teach new users for any software is:
1 - Open each and every menu and sub menus and sus-sub menus to read what lays there. Judging by the questions aked here and also in the Google hel groups dedicated to SketchUp (SU), many have never done that. Having done that, they would have found the Help Menu that gives access to the Help Center.
2 - Place the cursor on each tool icon to read its name which, usually, is a good clue to its use.
3 - Right click on all objects, icons, menus, buttons, items that are shown to see if any context menu lies somewhere.
4 - Print the Quick Reference Card.
5 - Read the help, especially about the user interface. For SU, you soon discover the extreme importance, especially for beginners, of the status bar that sits at the bottom of the Model Window where SU is constantly giving clues as what to do after the selection of a tool, for example, and also about the Measurement tool bar that sits also at the bottom but the right of the Model Window.
6 - Take a few hours to view all the video tutorials that can also be accessed from the Help Center.
7 - Search the Youtube channel dedicated to SketchUp

Bonjour.
