Hi guys,
I am trying to apply a texture on a cushion but seems to have no luck on doing it. I also tried to use the UV tool but also no luck. Please help.

Thanks Rocky. I will explore those options you've mentioned. I have the SDS but for some reason, it is harder to use than I expected. Perhaps I haven't use enough to control those tools.

thank you all. My company is an interior design firm and we use sketchup mainly for modelling interior scenes and use Twilight render to render the scenes. We will be doing a lot of furniture modelling. Such furniture has quite a bit of free form. So Rocky is "MOI3d" is the way to go?

Hi ALL sketchup users,
My company is trying to build a new system mainly for Sketchup and rendering. Should I get the Sketchup Pro 7.1 now or wait until Sketchup 8 comes out? Does anybody knows when Sketchup 8 will be coming out and what's the time frame if I wait? The company wants to spend a one time fee and I want to take an advantage of it. I have thought about going to the Free sketchup 7.1 and wait for the 8. I want to hear your thought and input.

I preferred Twightlight render. Very easy to learn and quite affordable.

Thanks Xrok1 and Solo. I have both tools but I couldn't acheive the realistic cushion look. Could you possibly do a quick tutorial? please see attachment for the photo I am trying to acheive.

did you uninstalled the demo version? As Thom mentioned previously,you have to fully uninstall the old version before you install the new. Maybe this will have solve your problem.
