I got tired of creating exploded views of my woodworking models by hand, so I've been working on an extension that creates a non-destructive exploded scene of a model. You can move around elements in the exploded scene and customize how far and in what direction components move without changing your actual assembled model. You can toggle between the exploded view and the reassembled view.
