I downloaded this model from Sketchuptexture and it is designed and shared by Bianca atalla.

I am learning Thea for Sketchup, Exterior is pretty much easy with Thea but with interior i struggle, This is my first serious Interior rendering.

The first image is rendered with Presto AO and it took 1hr40Min with 2048 samples , 2nd image is BSD interior Medium and it took 21 minutes, 3rd Image is with BSD interior Medium and it took 1hr45min with 1024 samples. I used simple HDRI and 1 portal light behind windows, and 2 more one on left side and other on in front of door.
i edit them with google NIK and photoshop.

Last 2 images i loved this old look so wanted to share it too.
Please comment and suggest for more improvements.

Day 3 3rd party presentations were not recorded, which is too bad as Rich O'Brien did one on the new Animator plugin worth seeing.

yes i am using point light and will change it surely.

thats was last minute decision and to show to client i made it brighter not reality but clients are always right

This is a project of my friend and i did rendering for him, bazar is basically a market with low height buiildings streets etc.

Modelling in Sketchup renderd in THEA for SU, all of scene are rendered with PRESTO MC but the night view with cars in it is rendered with BSD exterior medium.. i love thea for its speed and everyhing but this noise issue is really frustrating for me. i shifted from vray to thea for speed but this issue is frustrating. also i carefullly put lights so no geometry interaction. I wish Thea will release more tutorials tips on these issues. there is no sufficient data for many things..

Sure and agreed with you , i did some test render before and it was simple grass with no tree stones and land in foreground but it was so dull. will try to change and some more details.

I am learning Thea Render these days so this is my first render i did some test renders before but this is like proper first render. Thea is really easy to use but i wish there were some explanations about advanced details.

Agreed with you but still i will prefer over lumion any day because i think lumion people are milking the cow, all the features they have included were asked in when lumion 2.5 ultimate version was launched. specially about glass but from that moment till lumion 6 nothing and now suddenly we got it, people in car and all.
To me it seems like they have everything in pipeline already just releasing in bits which everyone does bu lumion is too much these were some pretty basic feature. in lumion 5 they introduced mass movement ( same as twinmotion did but much better because of curves and all ) but no mass movement in curves and all, now they have introduced it in lumion 6.0 so if i am a lumion user i have to buy it because they have given incomplete feature in lumion 5.

anyway twinmotion seemes to be right on track updating fast and cheap too upgrading to twinmotion is 495 euros while lumio nis 999 euros.

i was about to make this topic , i would love to see some sneak peak some features because right now am seriously thinking about thea, the only thing holding me back is its interface,and lack of tutorial on net, i have learned vray very difficulty by own and from little help from net ( back in 2008 10 ) but thea looks compelling also i can use my 980ti . in london basecamp there was a presentation but unfortunately it wasn't captured just saw few images . so hope to hear soon from choas.
