Do you have an example of a .iso file? What is te file size? If you open the .iso file in a text editor, can you read it?

A .iso file in my experience is a a cdrom image file for writing to a cdrom disc.

Hi Jim, the file *.iso that is used in this machine are like the Gcode. It's true that normally the ISO files are images of a disk, ready to copy in a CD but in this case are only text file with a list of command....
I put an example of file ISO...

    • A plugin for my CNC milling

Hello to everyone, I'm writing to you from Italy and today I buy a milling machine CNC. The software included with the machine reads the file *.iso (I think there is another name for the G-code file....).
I use SU for my project and I wish be able to transfer my jobs to the CNC. I don't know very well English so please, can you help me to find some plugin to transfer the drawing from SU to CNC?
I just try a plugin called Model2Gcode but at the moment there are still problems...
There is anybody that works whit SU and a CNC milling machine?
      Thank you for your patience....

Nice job! I'm sorry but I don't know very well english to follow all your explanation... 😞 but I'm very interesting in this plugin because I want to buy a CNC mill in the next week....
So i ask you humbly if you can explain me how make work this plugin.
I download the V5,0 and I try use it, but there are something wrong in my program because don't work.
      Some simply questions:
It's necessary to have other plugin installed and which?
I use in SU centimeter as measure unit; in the first window that is open (where I can enter the parameter of the milling...) what kind of measure unit do you use?
In the ruby consol I see an error that you can see in the image below.

="Jeff Hammond@icoff, in case you missed this, the english version of sketchup doesn't act this way and will let you enter the numbers in the manner you're asking.. so, you seem to read/write english well enough -- maybe switch to that version ? πŸ˜‰

[edit] oh.. i see you've found a solution… does that change take effect system wide? that could be a problem too i think..

Hi Jeff, I know that the english version probably work like I wish, but my english is not so good to work with a program like SU..... and secondly, as Gaieus said, is a ploblem of SO. Indeed I can change in the preferences if I want the comma of the dot as decimal separator but don't change the key in the keypad....

With this little program I have changed only this key. I try all the other letters and simbols and all works fine....

Thank to all for the replies...

It seems that is not possible to change this option. To specify better my question this is a picture of what I want....
when I enter a dimension, in this case 10,8 I must use the comma as decimal separator...Cattura.JPG
I' don't know for you but for me it woult be more easy to use the point in the numeric keypad....

No problem... I keep on in this way.... πŸ˜„

    • A little question... [comma or dot]

Hello, I apologize if this is not the right place to send a request, but my english in not so good to understand all the posts of the forum.
I have a little question about SU: when I enter a quote for a line, rectangle etc. I might use the comma key in the keyboard. It's possible to use the point key in the numeric keypad instead the comma? (like this... 10.5 instead 10,5)
I hope that some moderator (thanks in advance....) will put in the right place this post and that you understand my language.... Thanks to all....

Yes, all shelves can be removed. It's an easy and strong way to assemble bookcases. There is no parts visibles in the front of the support, bat it's very sturdy...
