There there is a link to an additional plugin library "LibFredo" you need to install (these are common files used by many of fredo's plugins so he decided to provide them as a library so that users do not need to install the same functions several times).

ThomThom does this with some of his plugins, too, so when you get there, take extra care to the installation and requirements instructions. Often other authors also instruct to add other plugins (such an additional is very often "progressbar.rb").

Thankyou Gaieus sorry to be so long on the reply. I have been using the package without problem...except today, when I now pan my drawing disapears !?!? any ides what may have caused this

The 'Plugins Index' button links you to a thread with its first post that lists all of the Plugins available on the SCF forum.
They are listed by date/author/name etc.
Search that page using your browser's search tools if needed...
Click on any of the hundreds of links to the tool's thread - the download page for that plugin is almost always the first post in the thread - it's usually a .rb file to download/install or zipped set of files/subfolders to download/extract/install...
Read the instructions for that tool's installation and usage - especially about any additional scripts or tools that the tool requires [if any]...
Restart Sketchup to load the tool.
Note that with some tools you need to activate them initially as an Extension under Preferences, others you might need to activate a Toolbar under View the once - but the tool's installation/usage notes should explain all of that... Most tools appear under the Plugins menu BUT some list in Tools, Draw etc - again the tool's notes will clarify that...

There are additional plugins available from http://Smustard.com and http://rhin.crai.archi.fr/rld/ and some other linked sites too...

Hello all, very new to this system, as I have spent the last ten years on autocad, so just trying the water. I have read lots of posts about plugins and I'm still unsure where to get them from, in particular tools on surface by Fred06... perhaps I'm just thick...can anyone help??
