For those who also are looking for some answers, I found that you can use Render ID instead of Object ID to achieve the same result. It's working for me.
Thank you!

Try to create a new generic material, and then use this image in the Opacity row.
The image should be transparent.
Or in the Diffuse row of that image, try to check/uncheck "diffuse map alpha as transparency", below advanced options.
Thanks.
When this happens to me I just save and close SketchUp. Then I open it again.
Try also to click on that three dots on the top right corner and change the material view. Could it be just a graphic's problem?
Thanks.
Does anyone use VRscans on V-Ray 3.6?
I can't find a way to apply a color to use material ID, so all materials using VRscans render black (in this render element).
On postproduction, it's really bad not knowing what is what.
Thank you.
Hello all!
Since V-ray 3.5 every time I try to use Object ID it renders black! Before that was everything ok, but now I can't use this render element. (Material ID is normal)
Does anyone have the same problem? What could it be?
Thank you!
