I decided to try uploading my models through the "Share Model" option inside SketchUp and that seems to have worked. I still don't know what the problem was with the .kmz files and the Cedge error messages - but at least my models can be downloaded into SketchUp without errors now... here is the re-uploaded SpaceX Dragon...

RE: 3d warehouse cannot download
I'm also having a problem downloading my models I've uploaded to the 3D Warehouse. They download, but before they finish SketchUp 8 prompts me to fix problems.
Several of my models seem to have this problem, others do not. This one (linked below) in particular also was rated poorly by a user having problems with the Collada file:
The "results of the validity check" after clicking on "Fix Now" has many lines with messages about:
"CEdge (258316) and CEdge (258544) connect the same 2 vertices - fixed" ... etc.
I tried changing the geometry, redoing entire sections, simplifying and even deleting most of the model, re-uploading it and still was getting the same problem. Any ideas? I would really like to fix this and provide quality models for other people to use.

RE: [Plugin] Hatchfaces (v1.8 beta) UPDATED 15-Dec-2012
This plugin made my day -- no more struggling with hatch materials -- especially when exporting to CAD or vector programs. It also comes out much clearer in jpg exports. Can't wait to try it out on my next floor plan.
Thanks!

RE: A Welcome Message to New SketchUcation Members
This is my first post on Sketchucation -- I've been helped out so many times by just Googling in my problem and getting a Sketchucation forum page, that I thought finally I should just sign up and start participating in the community. This is the first forum I've ever joined.
I've also started uploading models to the 3D Warehouse for the first time as well as a way of giving back.
I'm part of a tiny design house in Bangkok, Thailand doing mainly interior design projects around Asia, but also many side projects.
